philippe raimbault, vigneron a sury-en-vaux

philippe comes from a family of winemakers going back many generations and today he has the good fortune to own vineyards on both sides of the loire river in sancerre, pouilly fumė and coteaux du giennois appellations.

his sancerre wines are from the vineyards grown on the steep slopes surrounding the village of sury-en-vaux.

the pouilly fumé wine come from the vines growing on the limestone clay soil around the village of sain-martin-sur-nohain.

the coteaux de saint-pere overlooking the loire river and the town of cosne-sur-loire is the site of coteaux du giennois vineyards.

all three are produced from 100% sauvignon blanc grapes.  sancerre rouge is produced from 100% pinot noir, coteaux du giennois rouge is delightful blend of 80% pinot noir and 20% gamay.
